What do I need to do to use my iPhone with my missile launchers?
Download the Striker II Helper PC program in the downloads section below. And get the Striker II + PC Off App from the iPhone App Store.
Can I use the Striker II Helper alone to control all my missile launchers?
Yes, you can use it alone. And, it is the only program that supports all brands and models and can control multiple connected units.
Do I need to know my IP address or other network stuff?
No. Your iPhone will automatically discover PC's running Striker II Helper on the same Wi-fi network as your iPhone.
Why does my firewall warn about Striker II Helper?
Striker II Helper communicates over your network to iPhones and iPod Touches. If your firewall warns, then make sure to allow or trust this application.
What do I install first?
Install the CD that came with your missile launcher. Restart your computer. Then install the Striker II Helper. And finally, the Striker II + PC Off App for iPhone and iPod touch.
All I see are activity spinners in the Striker II + PC Off App
When Control or PC Off is selected your iPhone attempts to discover your PC and missile launchers. Make sure Striker II Helper is running (or in the system tray) and allowed by the PC's firewall. Make sure each PC you want to control is running Striker II Helper program. Hit the refresh button in the iPhone App to rediscover connected PCs.
My generic USB Missile Launcher doesn't work.
Run the Striker II Helper. Select Launcher Settings->USB Missile Launcher and click so that it is Checked.
I can't control my missile launchers with my iPhone or iPod touch.
1) Connect the missile launcher via USB. Make sure batteries are inside (if needed) and on/off switch on bottom is set to on.
2) Verify that the Striker II Helper is running in the system tray, use the keyboard to control the missile launcher. To Verify PC to USB works.
3) Run the Striker II + PC Off iPhone App. Select Control. Select the PC that is displayed. Make sure PC and iPhone or iPod touch is on the same WiFi network.
4) The program will not work over the Internet, your PC and iPhone must be on the same WiFi network.
5) Disable VPN, it won't work over VPN.
6) If your computer has multiple IP addresses then select the proper IP address of your PC in the Network->Settings section of Striker II Helper.
I can't restart, shutdown, etc my PC with my iPhone or iPod touch using PC Off.
1) Verify that the Striker II Helper is running or in the system tray.
2) In Striker II Helper, verify PC Off->Enabled is Checked.
3) Run the Striker II + PC Off iPhone App. Select PC Off. Select the PC that is displayed. Make sure PC and iPhone or iPod touch is on the same WiFi network.
4) The program will not work over the Internet. Your PC and iPhone must be on the same WiFi network.
5) Disable VPN, it won't work over VPN.
6) If your computer has multiple IP addresses then select the proper IP address of your PC in the Network->Settings section of Striker II Helper.
